Di sini kita diajarkan untuk berpikir dengan cara berpikir orang Prancis yang kadang bisa dibilang “nyeleneh”, “out of the box”, dan “sangat Prancis”, karena being authentic or even more, being singular, is what they expect you to be, to exist..

How to make perkedel à la Abellia

[Cooking] Perkedel à la Abellia, without using shallot. Prepare some ingredients as you can see above, potatoes, eggs, garlic, onion, some salt, paper, and Indonesian enhanced flavour (Masako or Royco). Chop up the potatoes and the onion. Split into two the garlic. Heat some oil in the frying pan, wait until it’s hot enough. Put the potatoe cuts into the pan, fry them until they are getting tender. Prepare the eggs by separate yellow and white part; add yellow part to the bowl along with fried potatoes, fried onion, and fried garlic; meanwhile, use another bowl to put the white part. Mash them completely and add some salt, white paper, and Masako or Royco. Take some small part and form them into kind of ball. Layer them then with white part of the egg. Then fry them until it’s getting yellow-brown. Voilà! This recipe is for you @tugsemylmzr I promised you a year ago to write it down. 🙂 enjoy!

Netherlands, International class

Small details I remarked after having participated on Dutch classes these couple of days, well I will compare it over French classes I’ve ever had before:

– they don’t use pencil box.
– they don’t write a lot of notes.
– they use the same ballpoint, I mean they don’t use different colors of ballpoint.
– they debate the lecturer
– they are very open and kind to foreigners.
– I like being part of the class because we can say anything we want to say and none will stare you with such strange look.

So, enjoy!

[traveling] hello Eiffel!

[traveling] it was on 3rd september 2011. We arrived safely, outrageously happy in Paris. The day after, we went to a traditional market where anything could possibly found there. Just because we haven’t got used to that “small” amounts of money, you know, Rp 12.500 replaced with 1€. Logically, that was 1, and not 12.500. So, we shopped almost everything we wanted to buy, cause it was “cheap”. Then we ended up buying the same dress with different color. Mine is black and hers is pink. Anyhow, this photo was taken on 19th August 2012. The first and the last time we intentionally wore the dress. And hey, Eiffel, thank you for witnessing it. 🙂
